LiquidEarth is a cloud-based solution that enables experts to visualize, edit and communicate geological data and models in intuitive 3D with real-time collaboration across different devices - anywhere, anytime.
LiquidEarth is being actively developed by Terranigma Solutions GmbH and can already be tested and used in Early Access since December 2022. All core features have been prototyped and conceptually proven. They are to be improved, stabilized, and released iteratively as part of software updates during the Early Access phase.
For an overview of the current product status and which features will be released next, check out the LiquidEarth Roadmap.
LiquidEarth was natively developed as a cross-platform solution. Whether it is a desktop PC, laptop, portable tablet, smartphone, or mixed-reality (XR) headset - with LiquidEarth you can flexibly choose the device that best fits your use case.
You can use LiquidEarth on the go on portable devices. It thereby enables you to work connected and digitally in the field, verify models on site, and immediately integrate field data for quick and safe remote inspection.
LiquidEarth aims to bring people together and help them collaborate remotely. It allows users to easily share data, annotations, as well as interpretations, and work together with others in real-time collaborative sessions - independent of user locations.
Our goal is to provide a streamlined workflow: Gather data, interpret it, and use it to build 3D models. LiquidEarth will enable you to quickly conceptualize your ideas, generate elaborate 3D geological models, and update them on the fly as new data comes in.

The following is a list of features and feature sets that are planned to be included in the full release of LiquidEarth. Many have already been released in Early Access as part of the first product iteration referred to as “LiquidEarth One”. Most others have been prototyped but need to be improved and stabilized (see the status below each feature). This list is non-exclusive, meaning that individual and especially minor features might not be listed and that further functionalities might be added in the future. Users can comment on planned items and even request features on the LiquidEarth Roadmap page.
LiquidEarth can be described as a “3D-first” app and offers a number of different options to visualize and interact with subsurface data directly in 3D. This approach differentiates LiquidEarth from most comparable solutions. The user experience also depends on the device used. While the app remains the same, the visualization possibilities as well as the manual interfacing greatly vary between using a desktop with a mouse and keyboard, tapping on a tablet, and immersing yourself in 3D by putting on an XR headset and using your hands. We aim to enable the user to flexibly switch between perspectives to gain better insights and work the way that suits them the most.
Status: Released
LiquidEarth’s graphical user interface (GUI) is unified across all currently supported devices. It was therefore built to be intuitive for desktop, tablet, and XR-headset users alike. Its design aims to maximize visual 3D space while at the same time enabling quick and easy interactions with data and models.
