LiquidEarth is built to be a versatile multi-platform tool, supporting not only standard office desktop computers and laptops but also a variety of portable devices for work on the go, making it an ideal companion for geoscientific fieldwork. In addition, we're on the cutting edge of harnessing the power of mixed-reality environments and spatial computing, having natively developed for XR headsets right from the start.
You can use LiquidEarth on a standard office PC.

Platforms & Use Cases: Please note that the usability of the app for a specific use case varies depending on the platform/device. For productive work, such as managing data and setting up a space with annotations, we recommend working on a desktop PC or laptop. If a more authentic and immersive visualization of 3D data and models is desired, or full-3D interaction such as for hand-guided 3D sketches, XR headsets are a great platform. Smartphones are great for “on-the-go” public settings, such as for quick visualizations at events, but ideal for more complex workflows. Importantly, you can use LiquidEarth on all of these devices and thereby use them complementarily for the right use cases.

While the app can function on "Usable" platforms, we're actively working on optimizations to upgrade them to the "Verified" list. Stay tuned for regular updates on our expanding device compatibility.
