Tooltips in the LiquidEarth App

Tooltips support your user experience by providing helpful information about various GUI elements as you interact with them in the app. The way you access them varies depending on the device you are using.

On Desktop and Laptop Devices (Windows PC and macOS)

On desktop and laptop devices, tooltips will appear when you hover your mouse pointer over interactive GUI elements. Every tooltip includes a link to a detailed documentation entry (found in the upper right corner), along with references to related tooltips and entries at the bottom. If you hover over these links, the respective tooltips will pop up below. Tooltips will stay visible until you move your mouse or as long you hover over the tooltip itself. Alternatively, you can use your middle mouse button MMB to keep a tooltip open, which applies to every tooltip, including those accessed from another tooltip. This feature allows for multi-layered tooltip navigation.

Tooltips provide a short description of an element’s function and links to related entries.
