Colormaps enable the representation of data attributes with gradient-based color schemes. These can currently be applied to:
Key Colormap Features:
- Pre-Defined Colormaps: Choose from a variety of built-in colormaps.
- Grouped by Type: Colormaps are categorized as opaque, transparent, or solid colors, with the default colormap of the selected dataset always listed first.
- Colormap Min Max: Adjust the value range the colormap spans. Use the Reset button to restore the default range.
- Pop-Out Colorbars:
- Colorbars can be popped out into the main view for constant visibility.
- The outer window hides when not hovered over.
- Multiple colorbars can be popped out simultaneously.
- Colorbar Label: Add a custom label to pop-out colorbars for better dataset identification.
Volume-Specific Feature
- Alpha Multiplication: Only available for volumetric data, this option boosts the transparency of applied colors in Direct Volume Rendering mode. This allows users to see deeper into the volume and analyze internal structures with greater clarity.
Inspector colormap controls for drillhole data.
Pop-out colorbars can be placed anywhere on your screen.
