The User Pointer in LiquidEarth acts as an extension of the user's input during real-time Live Sessions, serving as a tool to point at and interact with elements within the shared space. The pointer takes the form of a colored beam, resembling a laser pointer, and extends from the front of the User Avatar, also indicating the direction of the user's camera view.

When collaborating with others, it enables users to direct attention to specific data points, areas, or objects within the space. The distinct color of each user's pointer, which matches the outline color of their avatar, aids in distinguishing between different users' inputs.

<aside> ℹ️ Note: The pointer currently only activates when a user clicks or taps within the 3D workspace or on content. Also, a user is not able to see their own pointer. However, we plan to provide users with additional control over their pointer and content-highlighting actions, as well as with respective feedback for a better UX in the future.

Next to it, the microphone icon denotes an active voice chat, while the muted speaker icon suggests the user's speaker is silenced. The colored beam extending from the device is the user's pointer, similar to a laser pointer.
