Session in which you can collaborate in real-time with other Users in one Space.

In a collaborative session, two or more Users come together in one shared Space. One user, usually the one who created the session, is the Session Host. Others have been invited or authorized to join the session by the Session Host or another User with hosting rights.

In the shared Space, users can see the same content (meshes, annotations, and other elements), as well as each other. Each user is represented by an avatar that corresponds to the device they are using. The collaboration and all actions happen in real-time, meaning that the movement of users and changes made to the Space content is seen by others immediately (delays due to latency issues can occur).

While in an active session, users can talk to each other using Voice Chat.

The number of users that can simultaneously join one collaborative session is currently restricted to 50. However, we currently do not recommend for more than eight users to work in one session simultaneously, as technical limitations may cause errors. Furthermore, a high number of users may negatively affect the user experience due to “overcrowding”.

Collaborative Sessions are handled automatically, but this must be enabled in Settings: Collab.

Other users in the Live Session of the Space appear in the Connected Users list.
