LiquidEarth allows for the selection of any content loaded into your local workspace. This could be a Space, various data types within a space, or 3D representations of annotation or tool Block such as callouts or clipping planes.

There are various ways to select content. Within the 3D Workspace, selection is as easy as a click or tap. If you're looking to select data within a space, make sure the bounding box of the space isn't blocking selection - this can be adjusted in the inspector options. Alternatively, content selection can be done through the Breadcrumb Trail or the Local Explorer.

These methods will not only allow you to select content but will also provide an indication of what is currently selected. In addition to this, the Inspector will dynamically adapt to the context of your selection. For instance, selected meshes will be distinguished by a colored outline in their 3D representation within the workspace.

An example in which the mesh “SiegenFM” is selected. This is indicated respectively in the breadcrumb trail, the local explorer, and the 3D workspace (yellow outline).
