Presentations guide users through a Space, controlling their camera and the state of displayed content, as well as showing text in the Guide Bar similar to In-App Tutorials.
Presentations are type of Content, so any number of them can be added to any Space.
Playing a presentation enters a mode where the user can still move their camera and generally interact with content as normal, but changes are not saved.
Presentations are composed by adding Blocks.
- Note Block and View Block have special functionality within a presentation, respectively controlling the text displayed in the Guide Bar and the user’s camera.
- There are two blocks that can only be added to Presentation: Slide Block and State Block.
- State Blocks specify different versions of the Space state to apply throughout the presentation (see State Versioning).
- Slide Blocks specify the discrete steps that the user moves through when navigating the presentation via the Guide Bar. Slide blocks also specify the duration of transitions between states, for example to move content from one position to another over a few seconds.
