How to Permanently Remove Data

Remember that in LiquidEarth, data is always contained within a Space. To permanently erase data from the cloud or a remote server, you have the option to either delete the entire space, which subsequently removes all data contained within, or to delete specific data files from a space. Here's how to proceed with the latter:

  1. In the explorer, select the space in which the data you wish to delete is located.
  2. By expanding the space, you will see a list of all the data uploaded and/or imported to the space.
  3. To remove a file, select the Delete Data button which appears for each item upon hovering.
  4. A pop-up window will prompt you to confirm the file removal. Select Delete to finalize the process.
  5. If you removed an imported file, note that the file might still be found Uploaded Files. To remove the file from here, too, repeat the process.

Each file in the explorer has a Delete button.

<aside> ℹ️ Note that for the removal of data, it is not necessary to load a space locally. If you erase data from a loaded space, it will be deleted from the server but not from your current locally open space. However, upon reloading the space, the data will be removed.
