After setting up your user account, obtaining a commercial license (optional), and installing the app, you are all set to start using LiquidEarth.
First, you'll see a welcome panel prompting you to sign in using the email address and password you registered with. If you haven't yet registered and created a user account, you can do so by accessing the web portal from this panel as well (click on “Sign up now”). The number in the top right corner of the panel indicates the LiquidEarth version number of your app.
Choosing Remember me for 60 days will automatically sign you in each time you launch the app until you manually Log Out or until the duration of 60 days has expired, after which you'll need to sign in again with your username and password.

On first startup of the app, you will be greeted by this sign-in panel.
Without logging in, you can access several essential app functionalities, including general settings located in the top-right corner. These settings allow you to customize options such as GUI scale and theme, ensuring the interface fits your device from the start. Additionally, the ‘Help’ button (represented by a question mark) provides access to quickstart guides and links to external resources, including this documentation.

Before logging in, you will already have limited access to some app functionalities such as general settings and ‘Help’ resources.
After signing in, you'll arrive at your personal 3D Workspace, which serves as your space to visualize and interact with 3D data and models. To effectively navigate the application, it's advisable to understand the use of the main app elements, which are described in Main GUI Elements. Alternatively, you can jump ahead and Load an Existing (Project) Space or Create a New (Project) Space.
Following your first sign in, you'll encounter a prompt inviting you to start with our introductory tutorial. These in-app tutorials are fully interactable and offer a great means to learn the essentials of LiquidEarth hands-on, working with the latest version of the app. As we continuously update and expand these tutorials, they are an ideal complement to this documentation.
Feel free to continue with the in-app tutorial or skip it for now, you can always revisit it later via the ‘Help’ menu in the app (top bar).
