The Volume Inspector provides appearance, rendering, filtering, and slicing controls for an individual volume or a group of volumes. Most controls are also available from the Inspector Quickbar.

The header shows the selected element or group name and provides Edit and Lock commands. The panel also includes the common Visibility Toggle and Transform Panel controls.

To change how you interact with volumes, go to Settings > Display > Interaction and Helpers. Handles, the default, shows the corner handles for direct interaction. Box highlights the whole volume instead. Choose None to hide the interaction controls; you can still select the volume through the user interface, such as the Explorer.
