Guests can view and navigate a shared Space, but cannot add, edit, or remove Content, data, annotations, or tools. When sharing a Space, the Guest role is assigned by default.

Note: The Guest role differs from the Guest Viewer. It is the equivalent view-only role for users with a LiquidEarth account who have been granted ongoing access to a Space.

<aside> ℹ️ Guests can show or hide Content for their own view. These visibility changes are local and are not synchronized, so other users continue to see the shared visibility state.

LiquidEarth normally keeps the Space state consistent for everyone, whether collaborating in a Live Session or asynchronously. Because a Guest's local visibility changes depart from that shared state, a warning appears beside the Activity Feed. Select the red exclamation icon to view the In-App Issues.
