Overview

LiquidEarth Live Sessions require an active internet connection to communicate with our collaboration servers.

In some restricted network environments (e.g., corporate or institutional networks), outgoing connections may be limited by firewall rules.

If you experience issues joining or staying in a Live Session, please ask your IT department to verify that the following firewall rules are allowed.

Required Firewall Rules

• LiquidEarth requires only outbound connections when operating behind a stateful firewall (most modern setups).
• In rare cases where the firewall is not stateful, matching inbound rules for the same ports and protocols may also need to be configured.
• Only outbound connections to remote servers are necessary — no local inbound access from other users is required.
• In most home and standard office networks, no configuration is needed.
